A Promise to Keep Moving Forward

In my holiday 2007 email, I toasted to a great 2008. This was a promise to make a great new year for all of us at Josh Deckard LLC, including all of you, my clients.

Well, a new day has dawned at Josh Deckard and we are now part of MiddleFloor LLC. The Josh Deckard brand is being phased out, but, you may be wondering what else is changing for you.

Primarily, serving as MiddleFloor's Chief Creative Officer, I will maintain creative control of the projects MiddleFloor produces... the task for which I was hired for by most of you. Sales and administrative duties will be assumed by Jeff Cross serving as MiddleFloor CEO.

If you've looked around our new website much, you will notice a lot of mention about this "targeted product line". If you're still wondering what that means, or, how what we do now is different from what we used to do, then, maybe I can help explain.

Pre-merger, Josh Deckard LLC was formatted to be this kind of "catch-all" website development firm that cast out a gigantic net, trying to get whatever clients we could that matched our skill set. As a new, small company, we were still trying to come into our own. We were trying to figure out who our clients were and what they needed. At the new MiddleFloor, we have taken what we know we're good at, looked at what the majority of our clients need, and have put together a line of specific products to meet those needs.

Basically, instead of saying "we have the ability to do these kinds of things" now we say "these are the exact things we do and we do them because they are the best available".

We believe that this shift in thinking is going to greatly benefit our clients and our company. By specializing in select, best-of-breed products, we will be able to better serve you. One of our major flaws in the past has been trying to be a web jack-of-all-trades which had a limiting effect on our ability to really provide the best possible service. We are changing that to better serve you by meeting your specific, unique needs with this targeted line of products.
